High end quality fabric of the week
We congratulate Vinie for qualifying for our high end quality fabric of the week selection this week. Vinie kitenge is a lovely fabric that comes in multiple colors. It is available at our store in Yellow, Pink, Red and White.
This fabric is called vinie because its pattern reminds me of vine trees, though a friend of mine insists that it reminds her of mashonja. Perhaps she was just craving Mopani worms I don’t know.
Some people prefer to use this fabric as a layering fabric, I think it works either way, hence we call it high end quality fabric. You can use the fabric to make a complete outfit or blend it with a solid color or another pattern of Ankara.
In fact I’ve seen people use a combination of vinie fabrics to make a multi-colored vinie outfit and they looked cute. To each their own I guess.
